BESPOKE / CUSTOMERS OWN MATERIAL
For volume buyers we are happy to bring into stock materials from our suppliers either for a single production run or for on-going contracts. We are also able mechanically laminate fabrics such as Dupion silk, and matching create edging tapes.
COM
We also accept client's own materials (COM) either as fabrics or wallpapers. On short runs or individual pieces these are
hand laminated on site. We also print client's designs please refer to our Digital Print section.
There are 2 finishes available with a COM order;
Taped Edge:
The normal, and cheaper, option. Using the closest matching 'binding tape' we have, we will machine
tape the rims of the lamp/shade, as we do with our standard range of materials.
Sometimes, there just isn't a matching colour available, or the client may request a neater finish,
so we have available...
Hand Rolled:
Manually rolling the fabric over the rim of the product, hand rolling a shade provides a smarter,
tidier finish that the taped edge, and for those fabrics that are patterned, it keeps the fabric
design running to the very top and bottom of the shade, and around the rim, for flawless
continuity.
